COSTA MESA : Woman Hit by Car Dies of Head Trauma

A woman hit by a car near her home on Salinas Avenue died Wednesday of head trauma, police said Thursday.
Pamela Rene Paradis, 26, had just gotten out of her car at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday and was crossing the residential street when she was hit. She was not in a crosswalk.
She died at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana.
The driver was not cited and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
