If Barbara Saltzman had bothered to watch “Seven Samurai,” she would have known that Takashi Shimura played the samurai leader Kambei (“More Than 7 Reasons to See ‘Seven’ Films,” Feb. 18). Toshiro Mifune plays a farmer’s son--not even a real samurai!
