Trade Deficit Grew in 1993: The figure reached $7.35 billion, or 7.1% of gross domestic product, the Nikkei English news service said, citing a Bank of Thailand report. That is 7.2% more than in 1992, when the deficit was 7.3% of GDP. The central bank report said total exports were $30.67 billion, up 13.1% from 1992. Industrial exports grew 17.7% and agricultural exports 10.5%.
