Philadelphia Phillie first baseman John Kruk is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee today and will be sidelined for three weeks. . . . Seattle Mariner outfielder Eric Anthony has been suspended for four games for charging the mound during a game against the Boston Red Sox, precipitating a bench-clearing brawl. . . . Second baseman Robby Thompson, troubled by a lingering shoulder injury, was put on the 15-day disabled list by the San Francisco Giants.
