Move to Radio: Dave Armstrong, local sales manager for the Orange County News Channel, is leaving to take a job as general manager of KKLA 99.5 FM in Los Angeles. The format is Christian talk radio.
Armstrong, who spent 25 years in radio before joining Freedom Communications’ OCN, said the opportunity is an exciting one for him because KKLA reaches the most listeners of any station of its kind in the country.
“It’s a very challenging position,” Armstrong said.
