LAKEWOOD : New Captain Takes Over at Sheriff’s Station

The Lakewood Sheriff’s Station, which provides law enforcement for six cities in Southeast Los Angeles County, has a new commander.
Capt. Frank Vadurro, who most recently developed the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s security program for the Blue Line and Metrolink trains, took over the top spot July 3, replacing Capt. John Anderson.
