Van Nuys 31, Palisades 13 -- Running back Larry Reed rushed for 170 yards in 18 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead Van Nuys at Palisades.
He also caught three passes for 43 yards. Reed scored on runs of four, three, 11 and 23 yards.
Van Nuys took a 14-6 lead on Reed’s first two touchdowns.
Van Nuys kicker Arroyo Frederico connected on a 44-yard field goal for the Wolves on the last play of the first half for a 17-6 lead.
Van Nuys quarterback Chris Byfield completed seven of 12 for 95 yards and a touchdown.
