Canyon 25, Burroughs 16--Shaun Kelso ran for three fourth-quarter touchdowns and finished with 134 yards in 13 carries to lift the host Cowboys to a come-from-behind victory over Burroughs (2-5, 0-2).

Canyon (2-4-1, 1-1) trailed, 10-0, late in the third quarter before exploding for all its points in a 12 minutes of the second half.

Canyon quarterback Ahjeron Palmer cut the deficit to 10-6 with a 12-yard touchdown run with 2:34 left in the third quarter. Kelso then scored on runs of 12 and five yards.
