Report to Look at Charities’ Health

With the holiday season approaching, the Los Angeles Times Valley Edition is preparing a special report on the status of charities in the Valley and how they have fared after the string of disasters that have struck the region in the last year.
The report, to run next week, will include a listing of many of the organizations needing help and donations for the holiday season. Groups that want to be included in that list--especially those that have had a tough time this year--should write to Special Charities Report, Los Angeles Times Valley Edition, 20000 Prairie St., Chatsworth 91311 or fax requests to (818) 772-3385.
The deadline for listings is noon Tuesday. Listings will run according to space availability.
