Jerry Tarrant was named international sales and marketing manager for health care, a new position at Eltron International Inc. Previously, Tarrant was branch sales manager of the Intermec division of Western Atlas.
Eltron International is a Chatsworth-based maker of label printers and software.
Keith M. Gillum was named president of Hollywood Rental Co., the wholly owned subsidiary of Matthews Studio Equipment Group. Previously, Gillum was president, chief operating officer and a director of Camera Platforms International Inc.
Matthews Studio Equipment Group is a Burbank supplier of lighting equipment to the entertainment industry.
Jack Shine has been elected 1995 president of the California Building Industry Assn. Shine is CEO of American Beauty Homes in Encino. He is also past president of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California. Shine succeeds outgoing president Bruce Smith.
