BODY WATCH : Communing With a Rooster in the Early Hours
- Share via
No matter what time I go to bed, I still am a very early riser. I have learned to deal with it by walking across the street to my neighbor’s yard to visit her rooster. He has black-and-gray feathers and is quite magnificent in height. As he begins to crow, I advance toward him, offering his first meal of the day. I enjoy this early time as I have befriended the rooster; believe it or not, I now do a pretty good cock-a-doodle-doo myself.
