I have had occasion in the last two months to visit England, Ireland, Switzerland, Puerto Rico and Mexico. What a joy to fly back to our great city at night; seeing it lying below, like a great jeweled necklace.
Courteous immigration personnel, excellent arrival facilities, restrooms that work, covered parking lots and well-lit signs everywhere. Finally, to experience once again hundreds of miles of pothole-free roads with crystal-clear directional markings; what a contrast to the places I’ve been.
Congratulations to our airport commissioner, our Caltrans and city personnel: You are doing a great job!
