ANAHEIM : Police Check Robbery Link in Shooting Death

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 24-year-old man found Tuesday in an apartment in the 1000 block of South Philadelphia Street.
Isabel D. Martinez of Anaheim was shot once in the upper torso and died at the scene at 9:30 p.m., according to Sgt. Steve Rodig, of the homicide detail.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that Martinez might have been the victim of a robbery attempt, Rodig said.
