Electronics Maker to Expand Operations: Harris Corp. plans to invest about $100 million in Malaysia over the next five years, the firm’s chief executive said. John T. Hartley said the company’s Malaysia factory will become Harris’ main computer chip operation in Asia. The Florida-based company is moving its Singapore manufacturing operations to Malaysia. Harris already employs more than 4,000 people there.
