MAYWOOD : Scholarships Based on Essay Available

Ten $500 scholarships are available to Bell High School seniors who are Maywood residents.
Students, who must be planning to attend college, will be judged on a 250-word essay on “The Importance of Contributing to the Community You Grew Up In.” The deadline is April 15.
Applications are available at the high school’s Career Planning Center or at City Hall, 4319 E. Slauson Ave.
