DOWNEY : Center to Accept, Recycle Motor Oil

A recycling center at 9821 Downey & Norwalk Road will accept used motor oil beginning Saturday to provide residents an alternative to dumping oil illegally into drains, sewers and the soil, officials said.
The oil, which will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, will be reprocessed, officials said.
