Man Found Slain in His Bedroom

FULLERTON — The body of a man shot in the head was found Thursday evening in his home in an affluent neighborhood, police said.
The girlfriend of the man, whose name was not released, found the body about 5:30 p.m. in a pool of blood in a bedroom in the 2200 block of Hillview Circle.
The girlfriend called the Fire Department instead of police, Police Lt. Tony Hernandez said. He did not know why. Fire officials responded not realizing there had been a slaying at the scene, Hernandez said. When they saw the body, they called police.
Fullerton police were then notified at 5:38 p.m. and were investigating the case Thursday night.
Some bullet casings were found at the scene, Hernandez said.
Police had no suspects Thursday night.
