Suit Against Disney Alleges Copyright Violation: Bethesda, Md.-based Multimedia Wire said in a lawsuit that Walt Disney Co. “knowingly and systematically” made multiple photocopies of a subscription version of the newsletter and distributed copies to employees in various Disney offices. The suit seeks $2.1 million in damages. Disney declined to comment. Multimedia Wire Publisher Chris Sherman said he decided to file the suit after he was unable to reach a satisfactory settlement agreement with the Burbank-based entertainment giant.
