Village Christian 33, Santa Paula 7--Chris Coleman completed 10 of 13 passes for 177 yards and had touchdown throws of 62 and 19 yards to Chris Carrubba and Tim Gustafson, respectively, in the Crusaders’ victory at Santa Paula.

Matt Pike relieved Coleman in the third quarter and completed seven of 12 for 135 yards, throwing a 18-yard touchdown pass to Tony Yousif. Yousif rushed for 45 yards in two carries and scored on a 12-yard run, and also caught three passes for 50 yards.

Carrubba finished with two catches for 87 yards.

Victor Mesa led Santa Paula with 77 yards in 17 carries.
