Bishop Union 47, Valencia 27--Valencia squandered a 27-14 third-quarter lead at Bishop in losing its first varsity football game.
Valencia running back Donavan Calhoun rushed for 253 yards in 24 carries, including touchdown runs of seven, 65, 47 and five, but the Viking defense collapsed in the fourth quarter as Bishop scored 26 unanswered points.
Junior fullback Peter Yerkes carried the load for the Broncos, rushing for 147 yards in 12 carries, including touchdowns of 35 and seven yards.
