Coach: Glenn Forster (first year).
1994: South Coast League runner-up.
Key returners: Casey Bray, Jr; Bree Denison, Sr; Brandi Howell, Jr; Laura Kroninger, Jr; Sydney Leonard, Jr; Kelly Reed, Sr; Ashley Vigeron, So.
Key newcomers: Julia Barbour, So.; Christa Fitzgerald, So.; Margaux Pierog, So.
Outlook: The Dolphins move down to Division II-AA this fall, which should enhance their chances of earning a berth in the State meet. They lost to Trabuco Hills by nine points in the South Coast League finals last season. Leonard, who was hurt just before the Southern Section finals last year, was the league runner-up and was the champion as a freshman. Kroninger, who was seventh at the league finals last year, was the Dolphins’ 3,200 meter ace last spring. Denison, who was fifth at the league’s cross-country finals, handled 800 meter duties on the track. Peirog ran well at 1,600 and 3,200 for the track team but is a newcomer to cross-country.
