Exposition Park Upkeep

What an unpleasant surprise greeted us at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Sept. 9 for the USC-San Jose State football game! Upon arrival at our usual meeting place in front of the Museum of Natural History, our party of 30 USC alumni friends, some of whom have gathered there for 40 years, was shocked to find dirt instead of grass.
Los Angeles is my home town. What has happened to our civic pride? Has the L.A. County Board of Supervisors run out of water? Do they no longer care? Won’t it be fun to have our lunch and tramp through the mud when we visit the museum? For shame!
