Two Cal State Fullerton women basketball players will be out with injuries when the Titans open the season Friday against Arizona State in the first round of the Iowa State Cyclone Classic in Ames, Iowa.
Freshman center Erin Whiteside has torn knee ligaments and will have surgery in early December. Freshman guard Gabrielle Castro re-injured an Achilles tendon and also will miss both games.
