Times Makes Format Changes
The Times Orange County today inaugurates design and content changes to reflect the presence of Orange County news and features throughout the paper. Orange County Newswatch, which appears on the front page, will serve as a window on stories in other sections. The mastheads of the first four news sections have been modified to emphasize this edition’s extensive Orange County coverage. Because Orange County stories appear in every section of the daily newspaper, the Orange County section has been renamed “Orange County Metro.” The Times today also has redesigned its editorial pages and launched an easier-to-use format for classified advertising.
