. . . Orange County’s unemployment rate dipped to 3.7%, a fourth consecutive month of decline.
Analysts attributed the latest decrease to a change in the state’s accounting methods. But the county’s jobless figure was nevertheless well below the 6.6% rate for Los Angeles County, the statewide rate of 5.8% and the nation’s 6.7%.
