Avery Dennison to Expand Worldwide: The Pasadena-based company said it will spend more than $400 million in the next three years in warehouse distribution centers, equipment and plants in the U.S., Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America. Avery Dennison Corp. said it wants to expand its office products and pressure-sensitive-adhesives businesses in growing markets, including Hong Kong and Germany. The label maker had 1995 revenue of $3.5 billion. Avery Dennison will spend $65 million on package-labeling plants in Germany. The company also said it will expand its film-coating plants in the U.S. and roll-materials plants in France and Britain. Avery Dennison shares fell 12.5 cents to $54 on the New York Stock Exchange.
