Irvine Co. Home Page Goes Beyond Housing

The Irvine Co. is moving online.
Orange County’s largest landowner has created a home page on the Internet that offers the latest information on housing, schools, jobs, shopping and entertainment on the Irvine Ranch.
“Approximately one-third of all Orange County residents currently use an online service,” said Rudy Svrcek, senior vice president of Residential Sales and Marketing.
“And demand continues to grow as technologies improve,” he said, “and residents shift into higher gears along the information superhighway.”
Against a backdrop of the Newport Beach coastline on the Irvine Co.’s home page, Internet surfers can click on boxes marked “Live-own,” “Live-rent,” “Work,” “Shop” “Play” and “Learn” to find information on such subjects as new homes and apartments in the Irvine-Newport Beach-Tustin area.
The home page will also provide details on business opportunities in the Irvine Spectrum, Irvine Business Complex and Newport Coast.
