OXNARD — The FBI arrested an Oxnard resident Wednesday on suspicion of robbing a Port Hueneme bank in December, authorities said.
Gabriel A. Vasquez, 21, was taken into custody at a drug rehabilitation center in Los Angeles, the FBI said.
Authorities believe that Vasquez robbed a Bank of America branch at 755 Channel Islands Blvd. on Dec. 13. The FBI focused its investigation on Vasquez after an anonymous tip.
If found guilty, Vasquez, who will be tried in Los Angeles, faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $5,000 fine, the FBI said.
