Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

The FBI arrested an Oxnard resident Wednesday on suspicion of robbing a Port Hueneme bank in December, authorities said.

Gabriel A. Vasquez, 21, was taken into custody at a drug rehabilitation center in Los Angeles, the FBI said.

Authorities believe that Vasquez robbed a Bank of America branch at 755 Channel Islands Blvd. on Dec. 13. The FBI focused its investigation on Vasquez after an anonymous tip.
