AAC Acquires Affinitec

IRVINE — AAC Corp., a provider of call center management tools, has acquired the outstanding stock of Affinitec Corp., a 20-year-old developer and marketer of call center work-force management systems, in a $3-million transaction involving an exchange of stock, warrants and cash, the companies announced Monday.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by Sept. 30. Affinitec, which is based in St. Louis, will retain its name, and R. Scott Davis will remain president.
