Jerry’s Famous Deli, a Studio City restaurant company, said it has closed escrow on the acquisition of two Solley’s deli restaurants in the San Fernando Valley.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Revenues of the Solley’s chain are estimated at $7.5 million annually.
A manager at Solley’s said ownership of the restaurants changed over Monday, although there was no immediate effect on operations.
Jerry’s said it plans to change the name of Solley’s in Woodland Hills to Jerry’s this summer and redecorate so it resembles other Jerry’s locations. The Solley’s in Sherman Oaks will keep its name, although some menu items will change due to the switch to Jerry’s suppliers.
A Jerry’s spokeswoman said that Solley’s bakery will soon supply the entire Jerry’s chain.
