Woman Is Chased, Raped Near PCH

DANA POINT — A 36-year-old homeless woman was raped early Friday in some bushes along Pacific Coast Highway after being chased by three men, authorities said.
The woman said three men with shaved heads began chasing her about 2:30 a.m. from the area of La Plaza and PCH, according to Lt. Richard Paddock of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. One of the men raped the victim near Copper Lantern, he said.
The woman contacted authorities at daybreak and was taken to Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim, Paddock said. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Department at (714) 288-6741.
