One bike manufacturer’s home page reminds bicycle enthusiasts that Interbike, one of the cycling world’s largest and most important trade shows, is wheeling into the Anaheim Convention Center Friday through Sunday.
The show, which will feature the industry’s 1997 lines, is open only to bona fide members of the bicycle industry. But the Web page suggests that “you can get [admitted] by showing one of your ‘bicycle business industry’ business cards. . . . Since the concept of desktop publishing is well understood by our readers, what more do we have to say but make your business card look good.”
The Web page also notes that “Mickey Mouse lives next to the Convention Center in Disneyland. Since all roads lead to Disneyland you should have no trouble finding Interbike.” The two facilities are less than a mile apart.
