With the Highlanders’ perfect record in jeopardy, Armstrong helped them rally for a 28-25 victory over Whittier La Serna. He caught four passes and gained all of the yards in a final 65-yard drive, scoring on a nine-yard pass with 32 seconds left. He also caught two two-point conversion passes, and finished with 12 receptions for 132 yards.

* Huntington Beach, senior. Led Oilers to Division II title at the Central Park Invitational, winning the three-mile race in 15:24.

* Aliso Niguel, senior. Scored 16 goals in the Orange Tournament, including seven in a 12-11 victory over Garden Grove in the title game.
Rod Perry/Football/Receiver
* Mater Dei, senior. Caught seven passes for 139 yards and a touchdown and intercepted a pass in 41-7 victory over Servite.
