Kenyon Rambo, Long Beach Poly
The senior receiver is among the state leaders with 69 receptions for 899 yards, but it was his 84-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter that helped the Jackrabbits to a 22-16 upset of Los Alamitos in the Southern Section Division I playoffs.
* Ernie Rivera, Bell Gardens
The 5-foot-3, 133-pound junior tailback is a big reason Bell Gardens has won six games in a row after starting the season 0-5. He improved his rushing total to 1,205 yards after gaining 114 and scoring a touchdown in a 36-0 victory over Cerritos in the Southern Section Division VI playoffs.
