Mile-Long Display

Griffith Park’s mile-long festival of lights opens tonight in a display that is being billed as the biggest such event in this part of the nation. Spectators can drive along the route or park in designated lots and walk the bridle path.
COST: Free
DATES: Through Dec. 24
TIMES: 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
ROUTE: Runs roughly from the zoo to past the golf course
DIRECTIONS: From Golden State Freeway heading north: Exit Los Feliz Boulevard
