The endearing Judy Holliday’s last film, 1960’s Bells are Ringing (KCET, early Wednesday at 1:05 a.m.), may not be her best, but it’s definitely worth tuning in. Holliday’s just swell as a lovelorn answering service operator who falls for a man (Dean Martin) she only knows by his voice. Based on Holliday’s Broadway hit, the Betty Comden, Adolph Green and Jule Styne scores includes the standards “The Party’s Over” and “Just In Time.” Directed by Vincente Minnelli.
