Survey to Show Falling Auto Premiums

California Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush is scheduled on Thursday to release the annual auto insurance premium survey, which is expected to show a decrease in average cost of coverage for the states’ drivers. The state Department of Insurance said the rate decreases “will save consumers hundreds of millions of dollars.” Details about the reduction in insurance rates and premium payments will be announced with the survey.
