Drama Students Plan ‘Evening of Comedy’

Drama students at Irvine Valley College will present “An Evening of Comedy” starting next week.
The performances will feature scenes from playwrights David Ives’ “Sure Thing” and Christopher Durang’s “Beyond Therapy” and “Naomi in the Living.” They also will include an adaptation of “Why Humor is Funny” by newspaper columnist Dave Barry.
The shows will run next Wednesday through Sunday at Forum Theatre, building A300, on campus, 5500 Irvine Center Drive.
Performances begin at 8 p.m and a matinee will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 19.
Admission is free. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
