A vacancy on the planning commission, created by Tom Thomson’s victory in the November City Council race, will be filled on Monday.
Diane Coltrane and Richard Fuller have applied to finish Thomson’s planning commission term, which expires in June 1999.
In addition, the council must choose between Kathy Harrison and Nancy Warzer-Brady to fill an arts commission vacancy created by last year’s resignation of Kenneth Marshall.
The appointee will serve until June 1998. As part of its annual government reorganization, the council also will name new members to several citizens’ advisory committees.
New members will be appointed to the environmental quality affairs, the bicycle trails citizens advisory and the harbor quality citizens affairs committees.
The new committees will act as advisors to the council for the next year.
