A Target store is sponsoring a Paw Prints charity pet photography event today in Ventura to benefit the Humane Society of Ventura County.
The Paw Prints mobile photography studio will be open from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Target parking lot, 4200 E. Main St. The studio offers a stress-free environment, bringing out the unique personality of each pet, according to spokeswoman Daen Christensen.
Photos are $5 each per pet per photo, and there can be two pets in each photo. Christensen said three-fourths of the money raised during the photo session will be donated to the Humane Society of Ventura County.
The Humane Society houses about 100 animals of many kinds at its shelter and is raising money to build a clinic.
