Fourth-Quarter Effort Lifts Orlando, 88-85

For three quarters, only Horace Grant and Rony Seikaly were keeping Orlando in the game. But by the fourth period, the rest of the Magic joined in.
Grant scored 22 points and Seikaly had 21 points and 17 rebounds Sunday as the Orlando Magic ended a seven-game road losing streak with an 88-85 victory over the Raptors at Toronto.
Grant added 11 rebounds and Penny Hardaway scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for the Magic. Darrell Armstrong came off the bench to score five points and play solid defense on Toronto’s Damon Stoudamire.
Milwaukee 111, Golden State 93--Rookie guard Ray Allen scored 22 points and Vin Baker had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the Bucks defeated the Warriors at Milwaukee.
Golden State’s Mark Price became the 201st player in NBA history to score 10,000 points.
Charlotte 97, Sacramento 93--Glen Rice and Anthony Mason each scored five points in a 14-4 fourth-quarter run and the Hornets went on to defeat the Kings at Sacramento.
The Hornets trailed, 76-69, when Dell Curry made a three-point shot, another jumper and two free throws to tie the game.
