Clipper update--Guard Pooh Richardson, who missed the second half of Saturday’s 95-93 loss at Minnesota because of an ankle injury, didn’t practice Tuesday. Richardson, who earlier had missed eight games because of a sprained right ankle, will decide at game time whether he can play. The Clippers have lost two games after a season-high four-game winning streak.

Pacer update--Coach Larry Brown, who led the Clippers to consecutive playoff appearances in 1992 and 1993, won his 600th game last week. Brown guided the Pacers to a club-record tying 52-win season in 1995-96. All-star guard Reggie Miller, averaging 21.4 points, had a season-low 11 points in Saturday’s 92-82 loss at Seattle.
