Computer Staffing Firm to Sell More Stock

NEWPORT BEACH — Data Processing Resources Corp. said its public offering of 2.1 million shares of common stock was priced at $17.50 each. A shareholder also is offering another 200,000 shares at the same price, the company said.

The company, which provides information technology staffing services, said it plans to use the proceeds to open new branches and finance additional acquisitions.

Data Processing’s stock climbed $2.125 per share Wednesday to close at $20.125 in Nasdaq trading. The company launched its initial public stock offering last March.
