Initiative Bill

Re “Bono Reintroduces Bill on Challenges to State Initiatives,” Jan. 21: I feel that Rep. Sonny Bono (R-Palm Springs) is getting the cart before the horse. He should first introduce a bill to make all propositions presented to the voters more clearly written. Several propositions in the last election were very poorly written, especially Prop. 209. I am sure that many voters did not know exactly what they were voting for.
Then, after presenting a clearly written proposition and the voters accept it, if a federal judge places an injunction against it, some action needs to be taken. Please, Rep. Bono, go to the major problem.
