Talent Show Benefits Special Olympics

Dave and Bob are back.
For 10 years running, Dave Ciniero and Bob Adams of KVEN-AM (1450) have presented their Dave and Bob Talent Show to benefit the Ventura County Special Olympics.
They will do it again today, taking to the stage at 3 and 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, 800 Hobson Way, in Oxnard. Amateur musicians, dancers and singers will perform.
The Ventura County Special Olympics operates year-round, offering training and organizing competitions for more than 700 mentally retarded children and adults.
Last year’s talent show raised more than $10,000. The show has raised almost $60,000 since its inception.
