Villa Park 67, El Modena 49--Matt Poutsma scored 25 points and Eric Chenowith added 19 for Villa Park (23-3, 10-0).

In the Empire League:

Century 29, Katella 28--Chris Lopez made a three-pointer with five seconds left to give Century (17-10, 7-3) the victory and a share of second place. Katella is 19-6, 7-3.

Cypress 64, Loara 44--Travis Weaver scored 14 points as Cypress (18-8, 8-2) clinched its third consecutive league title.

Buena Park 62, La Habra 44--Ruben Gasso had 24 points and seven assists for third-place Buena Park (14-12, 5-5).

Magnolia 63, Anaheim 44--Zamiro Bennem scored 17 points for third-place Magnolia (16-10, 5-5).

Valencia 53, Savanna 37--Paul Aston scored 14 points for second-place Valencia (18-8, 8-2).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Estancia 86, University 78--Sam Nelson scored 27 points and James Dawkins had 23 for league-champion Estancia (19-7, 8-2), which made 34 of 47 free throws. Eric Palmer scored 33 points for University (16-9, 6-4).

In the Sea View League:

El Toro 66, Newport Harbor 31--Fabrizio Mendiola scored 16 points as El Toro defeated Newport Harbor to tie the Sailors for third place. The teams will play again at 2 p.m. today at Corona del Mar to determine which team gets an automatic entry to the playoffs.

Mark Wulfemeyer had 11 points for El Toro (18-8, 5-5).

Newport Harbor is 14-12, 5-5 in league.

Woodbridge 73, Corona del Mar 51--Chris Burgess scored 26 points and William Stovall added 16 for Woodbridge (22-3, 10-0).

Santa Margarita 86, Irvine 48--T.J. Williams and Brad Gloger each scored 21 points to lead Santa Margarita (18-7, 8-2).

In the South Coast league:

Dana Hills 49, San Clemente 47 (OT)--Reid Spiegl made two free throws with 11 seconds left to provide the winning margin for host Dana Hills (15-12, 4-6), which played without leading scorer Tadeu Souza, who is out for the season because of a knee injury.

In the Sunset League:

Los Alamitos 76, Huntington Beach 55--Ricardo Garibay scored 21 points for sixth-ranked Los Alamitos (23-3, 10-0). Mike Basich scored 16 for Huntington Beach (11-15, 3-7), which dedicated its gym to former coach Elmer Combs.
