USC 77, Arizona State 63--Tina Thompson scored 22 points to lead the Trojans past the Sun Devils before 714 at the Lyon Center.
The Trojans (16-5, 10-2) led, 36-34, at halftime, then used a 9-2 run at the start of the second half to go up, 45-36.
Arizona State (7-14, 1-10) got within five points with 12:15 remaining, but USC’s 11-2 spurt gave the Trojans a 62-48 lead with 8:30 to play.
Molly Tuter led the Sun Devils with 18 points. Michelle Campbell added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Trojans.
