TWO MORE SAFE PREDICTIONS

In “97 Things That Will Happen in ‘97,” (Dec. 22), you omitted two safe predictions: The news media, written and electronic, will stay biased in favor of the GOP and against Democrats and President Clinton; the Republicans and the media will continue to perpetrate the big lie that the news media are liberal.

Also, prediction 45 that GM’s electric car will have sales in the dozens obviously will not come true, since, so far, EV1s are only being leased and won’t be sold to anyone.
