ANAHEIM — A 64-year-old man was in custody Monday after allegedly wounding a rival in a nightclub shooting, police said.
Pedro Jacob was being held at the Anaheim detention facility in lieu of $50,000 bail on suspicion of aggravated assault after allegedly shooting Angel Ayala, 58, in the Saturday night confrontation, police said.
The two men apparently argued at the Memories Restaurant, 1074 N. Tustin Ave., before Jacob left to get a weapon, according to police Lt. Ted Labahn.
Ayala was hospitalized with an abdominal wound at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was listed Monday in stable condition.
