Four new stores on the stretch of Calabasas Road known as Old Town Calabasas will be properly welcomed by their neighbors this morning with a grand opening party in the city’s regularly scheduled farmers’ market.
Sponsored by the Old Town Merchants Business Improvement Assn., the celebration is expected to include a ribbon-cutting by Mayor Bob Hill, as well as food and music.
The new stores are the Saturday Morning Cartoon Co., an animation art store; Havana Banana Cigar Co.; Mt. Everest Tea Co., and Clay Cafe Old Town, a pottery studio. Each of the four shops will have gifts for children who stop by between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
